That would explain why it wasn't listed among the
MCS-48 parts . . . It
should be "in there" someplace, though.
It was part of the NSC SC/MP product line and as such oddball.
The 8154 with a 74374 otherwise worked fine with the 8748
and offered features that only 8255 and 6810 woud supply
in a single 40 pin package.
