I have a NIB C-64 that had the cable and styro
"melted" together. I've
cleaned it up but figured it was subjected to overheated storage. I'll have to
check my "original" packaging on other items to avoid that.
Other systems that were originally packed in styro have this
problem as well, such as the PSU cable's in ZX-81 and Timex-Sinclair
1000 systems. If not kept in the plastic bags they shipped in, the
styro sticks to the cables leading to the wall transformer.
