Why would someone do this ? An original working motherboard might sell for
$20 on ebay. I can't imagine this would cost less than $20. I see whole IBM
PC go for less than $100 all the time.
From my standpoint, there's value in building a kit
like this because it's
fun.
If you had to have some kind of high-brow justification for everything,
nothing would ever get done. :)
