Well, I've just finished repairing a PS/2-interface roller mouse. Use
had deteriorated the roller supports so much that it was impossible to
spin the roller feature.
I glued and shaped a piece of an old credit card to the worn supports.
The mouse works fine now.
I don't use that particular mouse much, but I think it's a landmark for
me to actually wear one out.
(Mouse was purchased new in 2001)
