Did any of the classic computers display in octal 0-7
rather than 3 lights per digit? Also what was the display
device?
The PDP-11/34 comes to mind. It uses six 7-segment LED displays
controlled by an i8008 processor. Some PDP-8/a systems had numeric
octal displays as well.
