If I had meant audiophiles I would have stated such. The "tweaks" are the
ones that can hear the nuances in an amplifier that cannot be quantified
because they don't exist. They describe an amplifier as if it were a bottle
of wine... Somehow they are never willing to submit to a double-blind test
to check their palette.

It's not really an "audio tweak" valve, at least not in the UK. It's
a
bog standard entry-level dual triode used in the preamp stage of just
about any guitar amp you care to look at ;-)
The fact that audiophiles love them seems pretty funny. Us amp builders
love them for their second-harmonicy crunch...
