YES!
Cataloging is NOT a task for unskilled labor!
You can not catalog a PC if you can't visually recognize the differences
between a 5150 an 5160 mother board.
Cataloging that is not done by experts can not be trusted.
And all college administrators, or anybody else who does not understand
the need for expertise, must be defenestrated before commencing.
