I believe this
was the chip used in late-model Commodore PETs (after
they designed out the earlier 6550 chips); maybe someone wants to
confirm this for the list.
Not sure. I think there was a redesign of the static PET, but I thought
it used 2114s (same geometry as the 6550s). There might be schematics
on funet.
Ok, I just found my schematics for the PET, labeled "Dynamic
PET P.C. Board Assy" and dated 1/16/79. It shows a total of 16 -
4116 dynamic RAM chips possible, with the 2nd bank of eight being
optional. It also shows two 2114's at locations UF7 & UF8. I don't
have schmatics for the earlier PET's though.
