Is TSX-11 or TSX-11/Plus still available for non-commercial purposes? The S
& H web site shows no info on this product.

It can not run nicely, as long as there is no UNIX on it. ;-)
As much as I like UNIX, which I use on my most heavily used systems,
it's still necessary to say, with regards to systems that I collect
and use for various other things:
UNIX,_here,_UNIX_there,_UNIX_boxes_everywhere = "boring"
In other words, I like UNIX, but other operating sytems (please note
that I said operating systems, not to be confused with those Micro$oft
data-mangling and system-crashing software products disguised as
operating systems) are fun and interesting toys to play with as well,
and give one a better appreciation of the systems they run on.
Of course, just using RT-11 alone can become a little boring rather
quickly, which is why adding TSX-Plus to it, or installing RSX-11
instead, is a good idea ...unless you need to do real-time
processing. :-)
