We had something like that happen at a thrift store by my house... a limited
edition signed print purchased for $14.14 sold shortly thereafter for $7,000.
They interviewed both the guy who bought it and the guy who
donated it to the thrift store. Nobody seemed to be interested if the
thrift store felt ripped off.
