I'm working on making a device to convert USB
keyboards and mice (through a
hub or KVM, generally) to ADB. What would the demand be like for something
like this? Would anyone else want one (or ten)? I'm not looking to make
any money, just keep production costs down by going in volume.
I'd sure use something like that. Optimally it should emulate the media keys
available on certain ADB targets (used on PowerBooks, for example) so that the
USB eject, volume, brightness, etc., would be translated into the ADB events
for that. They're in the HID source for most of the Linux distributions, as
Apple in typical fashion don't have them documented.
