I agree 100%.
But I think starting there is better than not starting at all. The
trouble
comes, just like Arduino, when people won't take off the training wheels.
What are your thoughts on those IDEs for those kinds of things where
it's built with building blocks?
I think they're terrible. You learn NOTHING from doing that. Nothing.
I agree.
But, like Arduinos and Raspberry Pis, I think
it's better than
rotting in front of a television, playing video games, or grunting and
drooling with a bunch of walking foreheads at some testosterone-fest
"sports" event.
I agree as well! It's far better than that stuff. ;)
