Good lord that is a gold mine. I don't think he actually intends to sell it
for $1 but still... Why doesn't this ever happen in MI?? LOL.

Hmm, I'm not heading down that way anytime soon - October at the earliest.
The text reads like they want a reasonable sum for it, but a mention of
recycler makes it sound more like it's just in the way and they want
someone to haul it out of there.
