My ability to search the web is hampered by poor
sat comms right now, so I'd
like to ask if anyone knows where to purchase an ICL7660 negative voltage
supply chip? My Basicon MC-1N is apparently missing it, but RS-232 comms
being as loose as they are, I can still talk to it even though there's no
negative comms voltage.

OK... thanks to one and all for tips... I will probably go with Digikey or
the supplier in Christchurch (since if I order from them, it will arrive on
one of the first flights in October). I do need the thru-hole variety for
this 22-year-old board. The input voltage shouldn't matter - it's a +5V-
only design anyway. I have no +12V or similar to feed it.
