It is not captialist vs. some pure ideology that we should discuss.
I think you are mistaking greed that is pervasive these days in this
society with the need to make sure that there is some value attached
to things.
I do mind seeing the latest gizmo go on sale for $500 rather than $50
on ebay, but there will always be a bunch of people to try to do that.
I don't see that anything will be a commodity just because it has a
$ value.
