Seth,
Could you please post the full path to the 2.9BSD distribution?
It would surprise me to find a complete 2.9BSD distribution for public
access--binary or source--since this is licensed software.
Thanks,
Dave

 Howdy folks,
I have a silly question -- has anyone gotten a PDP-11 emulator (Bob
Supnik's emulator, in my case) to run the distribution of 2.9BSD UNIX
that can be had from sunsite.unc.edu? It is a complete tape distribution,
plus a bootable RL02 root filesystem image.
Personally, I haven't successfully gotten either to boot. I made a
bootable tape by dd'ing together the tape images as per the instructions,
but it doesn't boot. Neither does the RL02 image. They both hang
somewhere during the booting process and get stuck in an infinite (or
 nearly infinite, at least) loop.
Am I missing something with the emulator configuration perhaps? Has
 anyone gotten it to work?
