ingenious.
It's also the first time I'd seen a clip of "Dad's Army"--up until
now, I've only heard the radio version and formed my own mental
pictures. It's a bit jarring to have them shattered.
That's a classic. I have read the book, seen the film and the TV series many
times. Infact, BBC2 (UK) are showing the first series (in B&W) of Dads Army
every Saturday. For me, actors such as Arthur Lowe, John Le Mesurier, Clive
Dunn and Ian Lavendar helped to make it such a great hit, and a very
memorable programme.
