You could, I suppose devise a friction feed
HP, Digitronics, Feranti built friction feed readers. The HP and Digitronics have
problems with the pinch wheel going gummy. Never poked inside a Feranti.
I've yet ot have a pinch roller fail in any of my readers, but it's going
to happen. But it shouldnt' be too hard to make a replacement.
