Heh, even in modern systems, decimal math, especially date routines, are
such a nuisance in assembly language that small ad hoc programs, not
intended for mass consumption or longevity will cut portions of the date
off just to make coding simpler. I wrote a few that had the 'YEAR 1990'
problem ;)
