A SPARCstation-IPX running NetBSD feels a lot more
responsive than a
Raspberry Pi running Linux. I've run both, but not side-by-side.
Software "weight" probably has a lot to do with it.
Indeed. I would hesitate to ascribe the difference to the hardware
without trying basically the same OS on each.
