Those are totally awesome. I had one as my first computer, but traded it away years ago.
I'd love to get one back someday.
I had a chess program for it at one point that utilized the touch screen. And a copy of
Zork.

Unfortunately, I lost all the copies of the software. But you are correct in that it used
a custom version of DOS. They're "MS-DOS compatible", but not IBM PC
compatible.
You can use it like a dumb terminal though without the DOS disks...

Subject: HP-150 Touchscreen
I have just collected one of these machines. I don't know a lot about them.
It seems they use a customized version of MS-DOS. Does anyone have a copy?
I have inspected the PSU in the base unit and there are no obviously swollen
capacitors, but it is 30 years old. Not sure if I should try applying power.
