That's a great tip; I've never heard of that stuff before. I'm going to
have to buy some. Just briefly, how do you burnish the heads with it? Do
you wrap it around a tongue depressor or something else?
I was going t oask much the same thing. Firstly, I asusem the Al_2O_3
lapping film is useless for doing harddisk haeds.
Seocndly, am I correct that the head should ahve a totally flat face. If
so, I ewould think about putting the lapping film on a piece of flat
glass or similar, adn polishing the head with it.
Thirdly, has anyone done this?
