are your resources up to doing a custom system

FPGA's to do your own 8? The STG 6120's seem to be tapped out and there
is a lot of demand for systems which run the 8. Could lead into a
version of the blink'n lights front panel.
I don't know about the back end, but a full system would be nice, that
is include enough in the design to support the disk, tape, papertape and
terminals if one wanted to.
