I took the cover off and measured the voltages across
the capacitors to make
sure they were discharged (they are), and looked at the fuses. No fuses are
blown. Too bad, that would have been a wonderfully easy fix.
Not always. A fuse rarely blows for no reason, so if you find a blown
fuse most of the time there's something else failed.
