I've seen this before, but I can't find it just now. I need a wire

tool for qbus/unibus. What size for those pins?
I guess I'd like to know as well.... I have a bucket of wire wrap tools, and
they all fit just perfect for unibus wirewrapping. I just assumed there was
only was size.....
There were two sizes I know of within use at DEC. The Qbus/Unibus pin
size is rather ordinary for 30ga WW wire. I just use any of the tools
from the 1970s, including the hand-held tool from Radio Shack.
ISTR older single-sided DEC module blocks (R-series logic, etc) used a
heavier wire and a fatter pin.
I don?t remember those. But I remember the wire wrap on the IBM 1620. It used
rectangular pins, not square, and the wire was amazingly thick ? if I had to guess I?d say
24 gauge.
