Zeiss equipment, and almost anything optical made brass. But a

Fairly modern, binocular eeyepieces, but one objective (and a beam
splitter), so you don't get stereoscopic views of the object. It's still
a very nice instrument...
Notice I said 'nearly threw out'. I grabbed it...
I must be the only person who when asked to recomend a medium format
camera (price not being a criterion) didn't recomend a 'blad....
