I have a bunch of these drives and I use them in my
SGI systems.
I've never been able to find a controller that let's me use them in a
PC. If you find one that works, I would appreciate hearing about.
They work great with an Adaptec 2940(UW/U2W), Symbios 53c8xx
controllers, and everything else I've tried in a PC.
You might need a good cable though (may need to have a proper
active terminator at the end).
