Yup, and it's easy to scribble on paper. Not so much on a Kindle.
So much of a datasheet is filler that you don't need at the bench--
mostly, the pinout will do.
Sometimes, I'll cut and paste to make a couple of sheets of paper
with the pinout of every IC used in the design for quick reference.

I thought I was the only one doing paper dolls! I'll take tat a step further and put
every IC footprint on paper, and move em around a bit for PCB layout planning.
