You mean they got people with pitchforks and torches waiting outside of
their "workshop" ? :P:P
In all seriousness I think that they were also violating some laws, since
the handling of special wastes is quite strictly regulated (and whatever we
can say, any old computer or relatively old typewriter has likely a good
amount of substances that would have to be properly handled if melted,
pulverized, etc.).
Anyway glad that it's turning out for the better (with hopefully limited
losses or damages)

Oggetto: Re: Dutch oranisation is butchering computer heritage
Good news! they phoned me today and we will be discussing taking over the
remainder on wednesday. it seems that they were a little surprised getting
the reactions they did. :-)

Hello all,
Sad news. the dutch organisation "Fenix Design" is actually butchering

they sold off the valuable pieces and are now in the process of taking
apart and throwing away the remaining parts. we as hack42 tried to
take over the remaining stuff, but they asked way to much.
feel free to post a comment on their facebook page.
