You can sneeze funny and get 30 gung-ho techies to
create a new flavor
of
Linux but nobody seems to want to work on a Web Browser
that can work on
classic hardware? (besides Lynx of course :-)

Simple because it's impossible, they believe that! ;)
Of course there's Newdeal Software and they have a small browser that
runs pretty light and I think it runs on XTs!
