And that's how I learned that school wasn't
going to teach me anything
useful, or basically true.
Ah,m another one. I learnt _absolutely nothing_ at school. Fortunately
I'd already taught myself the things I thought I'd find useful.
Everything they tried to teach me was either woefully incomplete or so
wrong as to be laughable.
I rememebr having a long arguement with a physics teacher who insisted a
bridge circuit couldn't be used to measure capacitance, but only to
compare capacitors. I am strill trying to find a definition of
'measurement' which does not involve comparison to a standard.
