Are you one of the greying folks who use Grecian Formula 16 to hide the
effects of age? 0.6% lead acetate--a very toxic substance. Sometimes
blamed as a factor in the decline of the Roman Empire (ancient Romans used
to boil wine in lead pots to "sweeten" it. Lead acetate is also known as
"sugar of lead" because of its sweet taste).
