We run the consoles of our kit @ 115200, because 9600 is just a pain in
the posterior. But those are current server machines ;-)

Isn't that the chip Sun used on most of their SPARCstations? If so,
I disagree in at least a few respects.
Yup, that's the one, and, that's why
it was a bad idea for Sun to use
it as a friggin' console port that will only every do 9600 8/N/1
async ever in its whole life. ;)
