   Now if you
were to say that the serial port is disappearing ... well
 then I would be concerned. 
The serial port _is_ disappearing.  I am concerned.  I have a number of 
I'm concerned as well, I view a Serial port as a necessity.  I've 
hardly every used a Parallel port, but I need Serial ports!
