I'm slowly finding out about the many

far, I have found four different styles including one with the built-in
Here are the basic variations of the Apple //e:
Rev Keycaps Letters Mem CPU Notes
--- -------- ------- ---- ----- ----------------------------------
1 Beige White 64K 6502 Not capable of double hi-res mode
2 Grey Black 64K 6502 Double hi-res with 128K
3 Grey Black 128K 65c02 Enhanced
4 Platinum Black 128K 65c02 "Platinum" model, numeric keypad
I need to take a look at the guts to check those things out What I am
finding is:
Style 1 - Top cover has a "velcro" style latch
Style 2 - Top cover has what appears to be shielding along the back side
with aluminum bottom
Style 3 - Top cover has what appears to be shielding along the back side
with steel bottom
Style 4 - Has a numeric keypad built into the case
Additionally on the early machines, there seem to be two styles of keycaps
with large and small Apple Icons.
I know, I have too much time on my hands :).
