I bought one of the Unicomp keyboards recently to use at work, too. I'm in the lab
rather than out in cube-land, so I can get away with its loud clickiness. I swapped CTRL
and CAPS, and slapped on a red ESC key. One of the LEDs was bad when it arrived; rather
than sending it back, I just walked over to the soldering bench, pulled out all three
green LEDs, and replaced them with red, yellow and green LEDs that were sitting around in
the lab.
The best part is how everybody boggles at me and my hipster ways. :)
