Radio-Electronics Magazine?
"Mac's Radio Service Shop" sounds right--and probably later became
something like "Mac's Service Shop". It's curious that I don't
remember
any of the story lines from that series, but can recall several from the
Popular Electronics C&J series.
Does any contemporary electronics/computer magazine offer a monthly fiction
series? I don't count the "Dr. Ecco" puzzlers or the "Verity
Stob"
satires. In the old days, the stories really did add a sense of "this is
an adventure" to the subject material.
