I'm sure that there was talk of having VMS Clustering running over
a SCSI interconnect. I think the main problem with using it for
VAXen was that most of them (all of them?) would reset the SCSI bus
whenever they felt like it. For Alphas, though, it was certainly
possible to do this. I don't recall whether the code was ever
released though ...
