Eastern Coast (NY, USA) is GMT-0500
Depends on the time of year. Right now, for example, Eastern time is
-0400; it's in the winter that it's -0500. (At least in Canada, but as
I understand it the only difference between Canadian and US Eastern
time is exactly when they shift to and from summer time, and even that
I don't think differs much these days.)
