What about running an emulator? I've heard from a
couple people that are
building their own game kiosk based on PC emulation.
With the way MAME does the arcade cabinet emulations, it
wouldn't be a hard thing to do. You even get to see the cabinet's
power-on self tests, if there are any, when you run a cabinet under
it. Of course, with MAME it doesn't have to be a PC either.......
