I've met him; he seems nice enough (bought a dual-rack 8e, with peripherals,
from him once). It is clear that it is business for him -- he seems to make
his money buying stuff at auction, selling what seems saleable, and
scrapping the rest.
Well he wrote me back and we've emailed a bit. He's knowledgeable,
probably runs a successful business and may get the price he's
asking for eventually. Good for him!
I'm not in the business, as the exchange reminded me. To be blunt
I was probably talking out of my ass re: it's value.
I'll go back to my corner now.
