I'd be willing to pay even more than that for
a K&R hardcover.
They do exist!
Used to be not in USA.
One of my students gave me one, but it was a [presumably unauthorized]
Chinese copy.
But, eventually they came about
currently starting about $80 on Amazon
and only 2nd edition (ANSI)
