I am amazed that they received a working one in the first place.
I ordered one from Eyetech in December 2002, and a DOA unit finally turned up
in May 2003. They messed me around on the return, and I eventually had to drag
Eyetech through the courts to get my money back.
My copy of the court paperwork tells me I paid ?566.66, which is about
?750/$1250 in 2014 money. So even if I had eventually extracted a working unit
out of Eyetech, I'd still be down on the deal!
