Wouldn't say a VHS machine (I've got an 8mm cam
corder) but certainly the
door opens and there is space in it to drop in the tape and then presumably
close the door.
If you can fit a 8mm Camcorder tape in there it's a 8mm Exabyte drive.
People claim you can use the same tapes, I'm not one of them though, I use
Data grade tapes in my 8mm drives. If you take the drive you it will say
if it's a 8200 or a 8500. You've got a very nice sounding system there.
