Indeed. And for some odd reeaon, companies like Farnell, and E-bay
sellers seem to want money in exchange for their toys.
Well, you might find that a rescue shelter cat costs a small fortune, by the
way - the shelters here at least give any animals that are taken in all their
shots (and spay/neuter them), and then the bill for those gets passed on to
whoever adopts them. If anyone adopts them.
It must be a bit off-putting for prospective adopters, but at the same time I
can see that it makes sense for all their shots to be up to date and that they
can't contribute to the problem of yet more abandoned critters out there.
