Large quantities of air are absolutely critical for the process to work
well, along with rotating the reels and obviously having them vertical
in the airflow. If you look at the oven picture, you'll see nine fans
at the bottom, there are another 9 at the top, with a regulated heat
source below the bottom set.
I guess I can be happy that I don't have to deal with tape that hasn't
been saturation recorded. If you can keep the tape moving and it reads
at all, it will generally read all the way through.
