On the first day they were available (August 12,1981, IIRC), my
employer bought two 5150s. One had 16K and MDA. The other had 64K, a
64K expansion card, a serial card, and CGA. The first thing we did
was add 48K of RAM to the 16K unit. Then we designed and sold our own
256K RAM cards and floppy controller cards.
