regarding the dearth of information about some machines, I guess it just happens. No they didn't make significant inroads into the mainstream pc market, probably the biggest reason. Out of site out of mind. I'm about to embark on a journey to a far off land (Lake George, NY) to pick up a Canon AS-100. And a pristine example of one I'm told, repleat with all the goodies, ruggedized shipping carton to boot. The man used to be a rep for Canon, and held onto it all these years. Right. Point being, whoever heard of it or even cares? I myself wasn't aware of it's existence until less then 1 year ago. Yet, IMHO it's one of, if not the, grooviest craziest PeeCees out there.
