Some of them can be traced back to original owners (most of them are still
owned by the original owners!) The Apple 1 auctioned at VCF 4.0 was owned
by Ray Borrill, who bought 15 to sell in his computer store in
Indianapolis, Indiana (USA). All of them sold, save for one he used one
for a store display. He tucked it away at some point and forgot about it.
Last year he decided it was finally time to sell it :)
P.S. Working on getting to Boston in late July. The
Red Sox ARE in
