 absolutely gorgeous.

 I have 4x 5082-7100 displays.  Similar except 3 digits per package.
 I'm waiting for the right project to use them. 
I;'ev got a similar-construction 2-character 5*7 dot matrix module in the 
spares box (no internal decoder electronics, just LEDs). I also have a 
totalty of 12 4-character dot matrix LED modules, but they're in use (84 
i nthe HP9820, 8 in the HP9830).
